A Houston man was sentenced to life in prison for sexual assault of a child in Katy.
Christopher Jeansonne, 47, was sentenced Friday. Sexual assault of a child is a second-degree felony.
In October 2016, Katy Police investigated an allegation of sexual assault of a child in Katy. Police detectives investigated and identified Jeansonne as the suspect.
Police presented its findings to the Harris County district attorney’s office for charges. Jeansonne was arrested shortly thereafter.
