Cinco Ranch Branch Library Hosts “Friday Flicks For Teens & Adults”

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will feature “Friday Flicks for Teens & Adults” on Friday, August 2. The movie will begin at 1:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy. In keeping with the Summer Reading Challenge theme of “A Universe of Stories” and the 50th anniversary of the first lunar landing, the library will show movies with space themes.

Released in 2014, this sci-fi adventure film stars Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway as astronauts who embark on a dangerous mission through a wormhole to find a habitable planet in a distant galaxy. This award-winning film is rated PG-13.

The movie is free and open to the public. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

The libraries’ licensing agreement for public showing of films prohibits them from releasing the name of the movie outside of the library.
