Clint Faas, Texas Parks & Wildlife Biologist
Chapter Texas Parks & Wildlife advisor, Clint Faas, will give a background and offer recent information on chronic wasting disease (CWD) which afflicts deer in Texas as well as an overview of possible new control methods and issues with feral hogs.
Clint Faas is the Texas Parks and Wildlife biologist for Wharton and Fort Bend Counties. A Wharton County native, he graduated from Texas A&M University in 2005 with a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Management and a minor in Rangeland Ecology and Management. He went on to obtain a M.S. in Wildlife Ecology from Texas State University in 2008. Post-graduation, and prior to coming to TPWD, Faas worked as a biologist on a private ranch and Director of Conservation Programs for Texas Wildlife Association.
