KATY [May 6, 2019] – In fall 2020, Katy Independent School District will open a new elementary school as part of the 2017 bond program. As new communities continue to be developed throughout the District, Katy ISD will break ground on Elementary #43, located in the Elyson subdivision. The new school will address growth in the northwest quadrant of the district, as well as provide relief to existing campuses that currently enroll students in surrounding attendance boundaries.
“Watching a new campus become a part of our growing school community is always exciting for the district as well as for families establishing their new home in the area,” said Superintendent Ken Gregorski. “Thousands of families are moving to Katy ISD annually for the high quality education and exceptional teachers and staff they’ll find in every single school,” added Mr. Gregorski.
