KATY [April 12, 2019] – Brazos Valley Credit Union invites the community to celebrate excellence in education during its 2019 Katy ISD Teacher of the Year Luncheon.
In partnership with Katy ISD, business leaders and prominent members of the community will gather together at the luncheon to honor outstanding teachers from each campus who have demonstrated excellence and leadership among their peers and in their classrooms. Campus teachers of the year from 68 Katy ISD campuses will be recognized at the luncheon for their contributions to the profession, and presented with a gift bag from the business community.
“Outstanding teaching and learning is taking place inside Katy ISD classrooms every day because of our thousands of teachers who dedicate their expertise and talent to meeting the diverse needs of our students,” said Superintendent Ken Gregorski. “These amazing professionals provide our learners the confidence, skills and determination to create the future in which they are most passionate. Our school community is truly grateful for their service,” added Gregorski.
