Fort Bend County Libraries will present a special program, “Wills & Estate-Planning,” on Monday, April 29, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the Meeting Room at the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library, located at 8100 FM 359 South in Fulshear.
Presented by probate and elder-law attorneys Amanda Grimes and Christy Theander, the program will provide an overview of the advantages of estate planning, as well as the disadvantages of not having a plan. Learn about the primary documents of estate planning — medical directives (medical power of attorney), durable power of attorney, and wills – and why they are important.
Grimes and Theander are Katy-area attorneys, specializing in probate, estate-planning, and elder law. Between them, they have 20 years of combined experience. They are members of the Katy Bar Association, the Fort Bend County Bar Association, and the Disability and Elder Law Attorney Association.
The program is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library at 281-633-4675 or the library system’s Communications Office at 281-633-4734.
