Are you learning to speak English? Would you like some practice in a casual, informal atmosphere? Fort Bend County Libraries presents a program for individuals of all nationalities who would like a place to practice their English language and conversation skills. The “ESL Conversation Circles” provide an opportunity for non-English-speaking people to gather in a relaxed setting, and discuss topics of their own choosing while practicing their English skills.
The Conversation Circles will take place at several locations in the Fort Bend County library system in April. The schedule is as follows:
- Cinco Ranch Branch Library– 2620 Commercial Center Blvd, Katy
o Fridays, April 12 and 26, 1:00-2:00 pm, Conference Classroom.
- Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library– 8100 FM 359 South, Fulshear
o Thursday, April 18, 1:00 pm, Meeting Room. At this “Crafting with Conversation” program, participants may bring their own small craft projects to work on or talk about, if they wish.
- George Memorial Library– 1001 Golfview, Richmond; Adult Services
o Wednesdays, April 3, 10, 17, 24; 10:00-11:00 am
o Tuesdays, April 9, 23; 6:00-7:00 pm
