Global Entrepreneurship Workshop At Cinco Ranch Branch Library

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will  have a special 4-part workshop, “Global Entrepreneurship Series: 90 Days to Launch,” on Saturdays, March 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Get tips on how to turn an idea, dream, or hobby into a sustainable business that can be implemented in any country in the world within 90 days. This series, presented by investment-management strategist Grant Hill, will help participants explore the possibilities of self-employment or the pathways to becoming a serious global entrepreneur. Hear about case studies, hacks, and best practices that can be implemented immediately and help one to avoid costly mistakes.

The series of programs is as follows:

  • March 9– Defining the Vision. This stage is all about “why not?”.  Explore dreams and ideas unconditionally, without filter, and brainstorm possibilities and options.
  • March 16– What is Required? Re-examine the vision and mold it into something more practical. Explore logistical matters such as customer identification, value proposition, marketing, value delivery, risk management, and international financial architecture.
  • March 23– Critique. Learn how to identify and troubleshoot obstacles to success.
  • March 30– Go-To Market Strategy.

The workshop is free and open to the public. For more information, call the Cinco Ranch Branch Library at 281-395-1311.
