Katy native Hayden Baker will take the stage this Sunday and will be the opening act for the legendary Willie Nelson at the Smart Financial Centre in Sugarland. Although he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with other artist like Josh Ward, Randall King, Tracy Lawrence, Jody Booth and even country music icon Larry Gatlin, this is a truly an honor for him to play with someone like Willie Nelson.
Just three years ago, Hayden was playing at Midway BBQ and a few other places around town and now he is playing at premier venues like the Smart Financial Centre. Hayden’s debut CD is available now to preorder and will be available for full download on December 7th. He will have a CD release party at Mo’s Place Katy on Saturday, December 8th, where he will open for Texas Country Music Artist Jody Booth. Come out and pick up an autographed copy of his CD and he will have merch available there as well.
Hayden was a 2016 Katy High graduate and a member of the 2015 State and National Champion football team and is currently on a baseball scholarship at Houston Baptist University majoring in Business Management.
