The HPRA Friday lunch speaker this week is DJ Summers, who will talk about the Texas Republican Party’s embrace of cannabis reform. He is arguing that the GOP should push for full legalization, and do so before the Democrats. He cites a recent poll that shows 70% of Americans support full legalization, including 57% of Republicans. Next month Canada will see recreational cannabis fully legalized. He has a book out:
