Guards Framed Prisoners with False Allegations

The HPRA speakers this Friday noon will be two representatives of The Prison Show, Hank Lamb and Tanika Solomon, heard Friday evenings on KPFT.1 FM. Hank and Tanika will be speaking on recent developments at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice regarding the scandalous  quota system that was in place for a time, is now rescinded, and with “corrective” measures taken.

Jennifer Erschabek, of Texas Inmate Families Association, from the above Chronicle article:

‘We’ve been claiming in the past that family members are being set up with these cases, but it’s been so hard to prove — and we finally have the proof,” she said. “I am just so thankful that our voices finally are being heard. We look forward to working with TDCJ to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future.’
