Cane Island’s Red, White & Blue Festival Kicks Off July 4 Festivities

KATY, TX (June 18, 2018) – Families can get a jump start on their July 4 holiday at Cane Island’s Red, White & Blue Festival featuring a petting zoo, face painting, balloon art, bounce houses and food trucks in the Katy community of new homes on Saturday, June 30 from noon – 3 p.m.

Free and open to the public, the community’s Red, White & Blue Festival will take place in Cane Island’s Amenity Village, 2100 Cane Island Parkway.  Free onsite parking is available.

In addition to children’s attractions and crafts, festival goers will enjoy food truck cuisine, available for purchase, including Mexican-infused Texas barbecue by Paco Y Nani’s; gourmet burgers by OffBeat Eatz; fried seafood selections by Twisted Catfish; and fruit sorbet from Berry Ices.  Craft beer from Katy’s own Growler USA also will be available for purchase.

To reach Cane Island, take the Cane Island Parkway exit off Interstate 10 minutes west of the Grand Parkway.  Head north on Cane Island Parkway and take the roadway directly into the community.
