The Houston Area Wood Carvers Club will hold its regular monthly meeting on Saturday, May 19, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bayland Community Center (6400 Bissonnet). Fred Childers will be teaching a class on carving a “fan bird”. This is a Scandinavian folk carving from one piece of wood. Pete Reittinger will be teaching at the beginners’ table. Members share their art at the monthly Show and Tell.
Carvers and those interested in learning to wood carve are invited to attend the monthly meetings.

The Houston Area Wood Carvers Club meets on the third Saturday of each month from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at Bayland Community Center in Houston. Members gather to enjoy fellowship with other carvers and to expand individual skills through classes, demonstrations, and lectures by experts.
