Learn About College-Savings Plans At Cinco Ranch Branch Library               

Fort Bend County Libraries’ Cinco Ranch Branch Library will present a special program, “Gift Your Child a Secure Future: College-Funding Strategies,” on Saturday, June 9, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.

Representatives from Transamerica Financial Advisors will provide an overview of College 529 plans and other college-planning options. Learn about the difference between prepaid tuition plans and college-savings plans. A 529 qualified tuition plan is a tax-advantaged savings plan designed to encourage saving for future college costs.
