Solomon named Maryville College’s Outstanding Sophomore Leader

Aaron Solomon, a management major from Katy, Texas, was recognized with the Outstanding Sophomore Leader Award during Maryville College’s Leadership Awards Ceremony held April 26 in the Alumni Gym.

Presented annually, the award is given to a rising junior who has shown outstanding performance as a campus and community leader and who shows excellent potential of continuing in leadership roles at Maryville College or in pursuits after college.

Solomon was also presented the First-Year Spirit of the Ambassador Award for outstanding leadership in the Maryville College Office of Admission’s Ambassador program, which trains current students to give tours, assist with special events and represent the campus community to prospective students and their families and other guests to the campus.

He received the College’s W.E.B. DuBois Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership in a Maryville College male student of color.

Solomon is a 2016 graduate of Morton Ranch High School.
