University of Houston Student Madeline Morris Wins USA Climbing Collegiate National Bouldering Championship at Momentum Silver Street

Last weekend University of Houston student Madeline Morris won the USA Climbing Collegiate National Bouldering Championship on her own turf. The 20-year old has been training at Momentum Silver Street and Momentum Katy. Momentum is known in the climbing world for their innovative facilities and programming, and Morris is the proof in the pudding. Climbing Business Journal reports that on average, indoor climbing’s growth has increased on average 9.5 percent in the past five years, record growth for any industry.

If you are writing about the growth of climbing, indoor climbing or competitions, please consider Joey Luna, general manager of Momentum Silver Street, as an expert and resource. If you would like to speak to Morris about her training, I am happy to coordinate an interview.
