Houston Farm and Ranch Club Closing

Because of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Harvey, West Houston was hit hard, including Houston Farm & Ranch Club.  The flooding that occurred in the Bear Creek area, Hwy 6/I-10 area was estimated to be approximately 16-18 feet deep.  Houston Farm & Ranch Club had 18 plus feet of water that covered the entire facility.  The damage to all the buildings and grounds was so severe that it will be impossible for us to recover. The flooding was worse than the flooding in April of 2016.

After the April of 2016 flood, many volunteers donated their time, money and materials to rebuild Houston Farm & Ranch Club.

It is with much sadness that we announce that Houston Farm & Ranch Club will be closing its doors for the last time on Friday, December 1, 2017 and turn the property back over to Harris County.  This is the end of an era that we all knew one day would come.

To those of you that have enjoyed, and supported Houston Farm & Ranch Club thank you for your participation and cherish all the friends and memories in the years to come.

Scholarships for 2017 will be dispersed in the summer of 2018.
