What: Stretch your legs and breathe some fresh prairie air as you take a short stroll through Indiangrass Preserve to look for signs of bird life on the prairie. You are likely to spot some of the many waterfowl, wading, and grassland birds that call the Katy Prairie their winter home. A guided hike will be lead from 10 – 11:30 am if you would like to learn more about the prairie and the wildlife around you. The preserve will be open all day, so feel free to come by for a self-guided tour any time.
