Katy, Texas – May 2017 – First Tire & Automotive celebrated the opening of its fourth store in Fort Bend County in May 2017. The new store is in the Cinco Ranch area of Katy. While new to the Katy area, the First Tire & Automotive team has been serving Fort Bend County residents for over 20 years. Owned and operated by Craig and Nancy Popp, First Tire & Automotive has locations in Greatwood, First Colony and on Eldridge Road in Sugar Land. Popp says, “For years, I’ve been hoping to expand to the Katy area. Many of my friends and employees live in the area, so it just makes sense for us to continue our growth down the Grand Parkway to serve our neighbors there like we always have in Sugar Land.”
The new Cinco Ranch store is located at 23450 Highland Knolls in Katy. The store hours are Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6 :00 p.m. and Saturdays 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The phone number is 832-430-2886. The new shop has ten repair bays available for a variety of automotive repair and maintenance services including: alignment, diagnostic services, brake repair, oil changes, A/C service, state inspections and transmission repair. And as a Goodyear affiliate, they carry a full range of tire brands including Goodyear, Continental, Dunlop, Kelley and Michelin. Popp says, “Our reputation is built on years of providing affordable, high-quality automotive service, and we pride ourselves on our satisfied customers, some of whom have been bringing their vehicles to us since I was the First Colony store manager in 1988.”
Craig and Nancy are both graduates of Texas A&M University. The family lives in Sugar Land and supports many organizations in their community including, St. Laurence Catholic Church and School, where both of their children attended Kindergarten through 8th grade. They also lend support to the Knights of Columbus, the Exchange Club, the Boy Scouts of America, Fort Bend and Lamar ISD athletics, as well as local swim teams, Little League teams and soccer clubs.
