What is the danger? The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a tropical disturbance in the Caribbean that is expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico later this week. Currently, it has a 40 percent chance of developing into a tropical depression or Tropical Storm “Alberto” over the next five days.
