Forrmer Taylor High School Football Coach Reassigned to Coach at Seven Lakes Junior High School

By George Slaughter: The Katy Independent School District has reinstated former Taylor High School football coach Trey Herrmann following a week-long period of paid administrative leave. KISD had placed Herrmann on leave August 18 but said it is unrelated to Herrmann’s role with students. KISD said additional information on Herrmann’s situation cannot be provided because it is a personnel matter. Katy Independent School District Places Taylor High School Football Coach on Administrative Leave

By George Slaughter The Katy independent School District has placed Taylor High School football coach Trey Herrmann on administrative leave until further notice. Joe Sheffy, an assistant coach at Taylor, will serve as head coach this season. “Sheffy is a certified, highly experienced individual who is well versed on the needs of the team,” a statement from the district said.
