The district has opened two schools as shelters: Cinco Ranch High School, 23440 Cinco Ranch Blvd., and Morton Ranch High School, 21000 Franz Road. The ordinance comes after complaints from residents who live near the school. Students have been parking their cars in front of those residents’ homes, which prevented garbage and recycle pickup and mail delivery. On the volleyball courts: The Lady Tigers and Lady Spartans of Katy High School and Seven Lakes High School respectively, advance to the quarterfinals in the 2016 UIL State Volleyball Championships. In Bi-district competition Taylor lost to Austin 3-2, Seven Lakes beat Travis 3-0, Katy took care of Dulles 3-2 and Cinco Ranch lost to Ridge Point 3-0.
