The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today that Army Sgt. Cresenciano Garcia, Jr., 22, of Laredo, Texas, died as a prisoner of war during the Korean War, was accounted for Apr. 25, 2023. In August 1950, Garcia was a member of Headquarters Company, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division.
