Private Pesticide Applicator Training Scheduled

Do you need to apply restricted use or state-limited use pesticides to produce an agricultural commodity on property that is personally owned or leased?  If you have wanted to become a Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) licensed Private Pesticide Applicator, an opportunity to attend the required training is coming up. This training is required prior to taking the TDA Private Pesticide Applicator exam.

The training will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office – Fort Bend County, located at 1402 Band Road, Suite 100, Rosenberg, Texas.  Registration is at 8:30 a.m. with the training beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The training fee is $50.  This includes two applicator manuals that can be purchased for review in advance of the training. Testing will not be offered. New testing procedures will be explained during the training.
