One of the greatest operas of all times, The Marriage of Figaro, examines love and lust in a single day of madness.  This revolutionary masterpiece follows a resourceful valet who uses every trick in the book to keep his comely fiancée out of the clutches of the lustful Count Almaviva.  A quintessential comedy of manners, Mozart’s work is a timeless look at husbands and wives, masters and servants, and hearts both fickle and true—all played to glorious music.

Registration begins January 1st, 2016.   Timeless Travelers is a new program series beginning promoting educational and cultural enrichment for senior adults.  Once a month we will be taking free bus trips all across southeast Texas to experience the culture and history of this great state.  The only requirement is that you are old enough to attend (55+).  Thanks to the Friends of the Maud Marks Library for sponsoring this series.
