Free Internet Classes
Maud Marks Library provides a free class in Internet Basics each month. Every month you can learn how to navigate your way around the World Wide Web and use successful search techniques. Are you interested in getting more out of your Microsoft Excel program? On Saturday, November 4 at 10 AM, the Maud Marks Library will be teaching beyond the basics of Microsoft Excel. You must have taken our basic Excel class or have a working knowledge of Excel. You must know how to use a mouse and a keyboard. Pre School Explorers
Children ages 2 ½ to 5 are invited to come to the Maud Marks Library on Wednesdays at 11:15 AM as we learn about the world. There will be plenty of stations for science and sensory exploration as we experience different senses. No registration is required. There will be no Pre-School Explorers on November 22 due to the holiday.
Microsoft Excel Class
Are you interested in getting more out of your Microsoft Excel program? On Tuesday, November 7 at 1 PM, the Maud Marks Library will be teaching the basics of how to use Microsoft Excel. Can’t come then? Don’t worry, the class will repeat on Tuesday, November 14 at 7 PM. Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required. Registration required. Computer Help
Do you have a computer question we just can’t answer during our regular classes? Maud Marks wants to help you with that. We are starting a new service on Fridays at 1-3 PM in our computer lab. Teens and tweens are invited to join us for Chess Wars! You played during the summer, now play during the school year! Join us every Tuesday at 4:45 PM as we battle it out on the chessboard.
