On Monday, May 22, 10:30 a.m. join us at the Katy Library for Internet Basics. We meet every last Monday of the month for a beginner-friendly computer class. Join the Genealogy Squad on Monday, May 22nd at 2:00 p.m. to learn how to do your own genealogy with other fellow researchers. The last Monday of the month will include a lesson or special speaker. Friends of Katy Library Book Sale Moved

Because of the flooding of Katy VFW Hall last year, the annual Book Sale sponsored by Friends of Katy Library will be held at Katy Branch Library located at 5414 Franz Road in Katy  on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 9 AM until 5 PM . Used books for adults and children. Hardbacks $1, Paperbacks 50 cents. Children’s books 3 for $1. All profits go to fund Katy Library children and adult programs.  

Teen Tech Week Event-Make Your Own Edible Mars Rover

  Teens, come to the library for Teen Tech Week on Monday, March 6 at 4:00 p.m. to make your own Edible Mars Rover. Come find out how to create this small-scale replica of the Rover and then enjoy it as an edible treat. All programs are free and open to the public. The Katy Library is located at 5414 Franz Road. Chess Players Invited To Share Tips
