Because of continuing public-health concerns with COVID-19, all Fort Bend County Libraries (FBCL) locations are closed as of Friday, March 20, 2020, at 5:00 pm, and are tentatively scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 6, 2020. The Curbside Pick-Up service has been suspended. All fines and fees accrued during this period will be waived. FBCL’s regular online services continue to be available 24/7. Free Income-Tax Help At Fort Bend County Libraries            

Fort Bend County Libraries will again host representatives from the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), who will provide free income-tax-preparation assistance for low-income taxpayers at several locations in the Fort Bend County library system through April 15. Income-tax forms are not available at the libraries, but patrons may use the libraries’ computers and printers to download and print out the forms from the IRS website, www.irs.gov, during regular library hours.
