Would you like to keep in touch with family and friends on Twitter? Fort Bend County Libraries will present a basic program, “Introduction to Twitter,” for people who would like to learn more about this popular social-networking website on Thursday, June 15, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Computer Lab at the Cinco Ranch Branch Library, located at 2620 Commercial Center Blvd in Katy.
The Adult Services staff of the library will show how to set up a Twitter account, search for and communicate with other people, and post “tweets.” Those attending this class should have a basic working knowledge of computers, and must have a personal email account before attending the class.
The class is free, but seating is limited and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Events,” select “Cinco Ranch Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-395-1311, or by visiting the library.
