Botanical Illustration: Colored Pencils

Colored pencils are ideal for capturing the subtle details of flowers, fruits, and leaves in botanical illustrations. In this class, certified Botanical Artist Sendy Issanti will give you an introduction to drawing plants with colored pencils. She will teach you how to observe a plant, render its details in a sketch, and apply colors in layers to build a three dimensional form. All materials will be provided. Ages 12 and up
