Enjoy a cup of the Arboretum’s Early Bird coffee while learning from local experts! See through the eyes of a specialist as you delve into various science and nature topics. Then, get the chance to use your new knowledge outdoors in some hands-on activities or a nature hike.

Notes: Wear walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Feel free to bring your camera and a pair of binoculars (we’ll have some binoculars available to borrow). Nature Revealed classes are rain or shine. Teachers receive 2 hours of SBEC credit and Master Naturalists receive 2 hours of advanced training for each class.

Tracking is a skill that dates back to the origins of the human race. Once used by our ancestors as a way of life and a necessity for survival, today it is considered a lost art. Learn the age old process of identifying tracks and animal signs, and open yourself up to the many stories of wildlife that surround us. Ages 13 and up.
