“The OTHS Economics Challenge Team will be making history when they attend this event,” said Tompkins High School AP Economics Teacher Michael Clark. “To see how in this past school year this group of students has worked tirelessly to improve their microeconomics, macroeconomics as well as their international and current event knowledge is an award in itself.  I’m confident they will represent Katy ISD well,” added Clark.

The National Champions will then face off against their Chinese counterparts in the final quiz bowl rounds at the end of the New York City event.
