Katy Police have charged two suspects with aggravated robbery and organized retail theft following a robbery at a Katy mobile phone store last week.

J’Korean Keeshayn Hadnott, 17, of Spring, and a 16-year-old juvenile, have been charged.

Katy Police said video surveillance taken at approximately 2:40 p.m. on April 13 showed two suspects entering the T-Mobile store at 801 FM 1463. Surveillance showed that one forcing employees to hand over several thousand dollars’ worth of cellular phones and smartwatches, while the other suspect stood by the front door, acting as a lookout.

Police said both subjects wore hooded sweatshirts in an attempt to conceal their identities. The two then ran out of the store to an awaiting getaway vehicle, a silver Chrysler 200, which was occupied by at least one other suspect.

Katy Police worked with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the Houston Police Department, and the Texas Department of Public Safety to apprehend the suspects. They located the vehicle in the 4600 block of Ireland Street in Houston. Ireland Street is off of Hirsch near Tidwell Road, north of Loop 610.

The suspects evaded officers on foot but were immediately apprehended.

Katy Police said the stolen phones and watches were recovered.

The case remains active. Those with information about the incident are asked to contact the Katy Police Department at 281-391-4848. See below for video surveillance images of the incident.
