Typhoon Texas Hosts Texas-Sized Easter Egg Hunt, Petting Zoo and More

KATY, TX (April 10, 2019) – An Easter egg hunt on the water?  That’s exactly what Typhoon Texas has in mind on Sunday, April 21 when the west Houston waterpark debuts its Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza complete with more than 10,000 eggs, petting zoo and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Starting at 11 a.m., children up to three years of age can gather eggs at the Buckaroo Bayou; ages 4 – 5 can collect eggs at the children’s Gully Washer starting at 11:15; ages 6 – 7 will gather at Howdy Hollow starting at 11:30 a.m.; and children ages 8 – 10 at Tidal Wave Bay starting at 11:45 a.m.  Eggs collected at each attraction can be exchanged for candy and other surprises.

Two other rounds of egg hunts will follow the same order starting at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Admission to the Typhoon Texas Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza is $100 and includes four single-day tickets, four souvenir bottles with unlimited refills, photos with the Easter bunny, access to the petting zoo and wave pool dance party.  Parking and tubes are free.  Special Easter weekend hours are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
