Adam Sulemanji of Boy Scout Troop 608 has been awarded Scouting’s highest honor — the Eagle

Adam Sulemanji of Boy Scout Troop 608 has been awarded Scouting’s highest honor — the Eagle.  He is the 16-year-old son of Khuzema and Farzana.

Adam was a Tiger Cub with Pack 542 who worked his way through Boy Scouts. When he was a Webelo, he earned the Arrow of Light, the only merit allowed to carry over to Boy Scouts.  With Troop 608, he has served numerous positions including Senior Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, Librarian, and Bugler.  He became a member of the Order of the Arrow, Colonneh Lodge, and also plans to attend NYLT.

The highlights for Adam was the numerous High Adventure Summer Camps including: Hiking 100 Miles on the Scotland Highland Way, Canoeing the Northern Tier Boundary Waters, Sailing Sea Base of Bahamas and the beaches of Camp Pupukea Hawaii.

Adam is a proud member of the CRHS Tennis team.  His Eagle Scout project included several improvements to the CRHS Tennis Complex and adding fence cups along the fence line that spelled CINCO RANCH and the school mascot of a Cougar

Adam has earned 40 merit badges as well as the Islamic Scouting Medal, Mile Swim, Firem’n Chit, Totin’ Chip and 4 Eagle palms.
