KATY, TX (March 25, 2019) – An impressive collection of classic cars, exotic high-performance sports cars, vintage roadsters and custom hot rods is coming to Cane Island as the Katy master-planned community of new homes presents the Third Annual Cane Island Car Show on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Open free to the public in the community’s Cane Quarter, 2100 Cane Island Parkway, the car show is ideal for anyone from car buffs to those simply looking for a fun outing with the family. Each entry in the show is available for up close inspection and photos are encouraged.
The Cane Island Car Show will present face painters, bounce houses, a rock wall and food truck cuisine available for purchase. Plus, visitors can cast their votes for Best Vintage, Best Exotic, Most Unique and Best in Show with the winners receiving $1,000 cash prizes. Cane Island’s showcase model homes, each fully furnished and expertly decorated, also will be open for free public tour.
To reach Cane Island, take the Cane Island Parkway exit off Interstate 10 minutes west of the Grand Parkway. Head north on Cane Island Parkway and take the roadway directly into the community. The car show will be on the right just past Cane Island’s signature Living Arches.
