Sugar Land, TX – Today U.S. Rep. Pete Olson (R-TX), VA Associate Medical Center Director James Eggers and Texas Veterans Commissioner Kevin Barber hosted a listening tour meeting with veterans at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Posts across the 22nd Congressional District of Texas. They visited VFW posts in Missouri City, Pearland, Katy and Rosenberg. During the listening tour, they discussed healthcare, the Women’s Health Center and infrastructure at DeBakey VA Medical Center.
“As a former Naval aviator, I know the sacrifices our veterans made on behalf of our country,” Rep. Pete Olson said. “Hearing directly from our veterans helps me represent them in Washington and ensure they receive care they were promised by our government. Associate Director Eggers and I had a great morning visiting with these patriots and appreciate getting a better understanding of what they need.”
