Fifth Annual Bayou Greenway Day Set For April 6  At Mason Park Along Brays Bayou Greenway

Houston Parks Board celebrates Bayou Greenways 2020 project with free, family festival presented by Noble Energy

WHAT:                   Join in on the family fun on your Bayou Greenway!

Houston Parks Board invites you to its fifth annual Bayou Greenway Day, a free outdoor festival at Mason Park for a day of fun with family and friends. Experience the beauty of Brays Bayou Greenway while enjoying free activities in Mason Park – the site of the recently completed Mason Park Pedestrian Bridge.

Bayou Greenway Day is a celebration of Houston’s parks, trails, and your Bayou Greenways. The annual event provides families with an opportunity to enjoy greenspace as they walk, bike, run, stroll, play and picnic along Brays Bayou. Event festivities will be provided by Houston nonprofits, neighborhood organizations and local businesses. In 2018, Bayou Greenway Day brought together over 4,000 Houstonians to Tidwell Park at Halls Bayou.

One of the most ambitious parks projects in the country, Bayou Greenways 2020 is completing a 150-mile network of connected parks and trails along Houston’s major waterways. Bayou Greenways 2020 connects Houstonians to parks and greenspaces – and to one another. All are invited to this family-friendly event sponsored by Noble Energy.
