Texas Piano Player – Bryant Li is a South Central Division Winner in the MTNA Junior Piano Competition

Katy, TX, Jan 16, 2019— Bryant Li, a Katy native, is the South Central Division Winner in the
MTNA Student Junior Piano Competition and will advance to the national level of the
competitions at the MTNA National Conference in Spokane, Washington in mid March 2019.
Li, is an 8th Grader at Beckendorff Junior High. Li has been studying piano for 8 years and is a
student of John Weems in Sugarland, TX.

Li, is also one of the founders for Music of Harmony, a non-profit music-based organization with
over 500 student volunteers, 20 team leaders and presented over 200 volunteer performances and
outreach concerts in senior homes and hospitals in Katy, Sugarland and Houston area
The three-tiered MTNA competitions begin at the state level. Winners of each State Competition
advance to the Division Competition. Division Winners then proceed to the National Finals.
