24th Annual Periwinkle Cycle “Let the Good Times Roll” Returns on February 23

Houstonians are invited to the annual bike-a-thon to raise awareness for programs

benefitting children touched by cancer

WHAT:            Families, children, supporters and avid cyclists are invited to lace up their sneakers and spin away on Saturday, February 23 in a family-friendly fitness competition to support The Periwinkle Foundation during the 24rd Annual Periwinkle Cycle presented by White Oak Energy.

Teams of four will compete in this indoor cycling challenge in 30 minute heats to raise funds and awareness for The Periwinkle Foundation’s Camps, Arts and Survivor Programs. Participants are encouraged to embrace this year’s theme Let the Good Times Roll  and pedal it out to win various awards including Best Dressed Team, Best Bike Decorations, Most Spirited Team, Furthest Distance, and Top Fundraiser. Additional activities throughout the morning include a silent auction, children’s games, music, and fun for the entire family. Individuals and groups are invited to register to participate in this event.
