[Katy, TX, January 9, 2019] – Your Total Foot Care Specialist and The Toasted Yolk Katy in partnership with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive. The event will be held Saturday, January 26th, 2019 from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at the main Katy location of Your Total Foot Care Specialist, 23230 Red River Drive, Katy TX 77494. The Toasted Yolk Katy, a breakfast brunch/lunch café located at 98 W. Grand Parkway Suite 100, Katy, TX, will be onsite to provide refreshments and their signature churro donuts. In addition, a drawing for a brunch for six at the Toasted Yolk Café Katy will be held for all donors.
In the United States, someone needs blood every two seconds. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages — accident and burn victims, heart-surgery and organ-transplant patients, and those battling cancer. The donation process takes about an hour from the time you arrive until the time you leave, and the donation itself takes only about 8-10 minutes on average.
