AgriLife Extension offers ‘Cooking Under Pressure’

Rosenberg – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Fort Bend County will offer a program that will help you to identify the many recipes that can be prepared in your new electric pressure cooker.

“Cooking Under Pressure” is a way to learn to properly utilize an electric pressure cooker, said Dianne Gertson AgriLife Extension Family and Community Health Agent in Fort Bend County.

In addition, this method of preparing and cooking meals will promote more family meal time, save time and money, Dianne Gertson said.

The program will be from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on January 30, 2019, at the Fort Bend County Extension Office, 1402 Band Road; Rosenberg, Texas 77471. Cost of the program will be $10.00. Spots for the class will only be reserved with payment. Deadline to register will be Jan 23, 2019. No onsite registration.

The program will cover different pressure cooker models, appliance features, safety tips and tricks to make cooking a breeze.

Participants will be guided through the preparation of 3 recipes utilizing an electric pressure cooker.
