Dubois, Gail Frances Francoeur, February 25, 1939 – December 28, 2018

Born in Somersworth, New Hampshire, Gail Frances Francoeur Dubois, 79, most recently resided in Katy, Texas, and previously resided in Denver and Golden, Colorado, and El Paso, Texas.  She died peacefully at a skilled nursing facility in Katy, Texas, following several years of declining health. Dubois, Gail Frances Francoeur, February 25, 1939 – December 28, 2018

A 1957 graduate of Somersworth High School, Gail relocated to the Denver area in 1959, where she married Richard “Dick” Dubois, her high school sweetheart and a native of Rochester, New Hampshire, who was stationed at Lowry U.S. Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado.  Committed to family and community, Gail regularly volunteered in churches, schools, youth sports and community organizations where she, Dick and her children lived.  Holding a variety of jobs in the Denver area, Gail is best known as a committed, dedicated and tireless wife, mom, grammy and great grandmother.  Gail moved to Katy, Texas, in 2011 to live with her eldest daughter Margaret and her family.

Gail is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Donald Dubois, a native of Rochester, New Hampshire; son Joseph Jeffrey Dubois, who was born and died in El Paso, Texas; sister Lorna (Danny) Connelly of Gonic, New Hampshire; and parents Jeffrey Francis Francoeur and Margaret Frances Bourque Francoeur of Somersworth, New Hampshire.

Gail is survived by her brothers Jeffrey (Patricia) Francoeur Jr., Lorimer (Paula) Francoeur, James (Debora) Francoeur, all of Somersworth, New Hampshire; and her children, Margaret (Steve) Laney of Katy, Texas; Richard (Wanpen) Dubois, Jr., of Denver, Colorado; Robert (Mary) Dubois of Golden, Colorado; Thomas (Laura) Dubois of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; and Lorna (Eric) Power of Parker, Colorado.  She also is survived by nine grandchildren – Brian Laney; Erica (Marco) Villegas; Sara (Jeff) Beasley; Jonathan Laney; Andy Dubois; Casey Dubois; Robbie Dubois; Jaedium (Dante) Ciminati and Landon Power — and 11 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019, 5:00 to 7:00 pm MST, Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary Chapel, 12801 West 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, with vigil/rosary at 6:00 pm MST.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 11, 2019, at 11:00 am MST at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 1985 Miller Street, Lakewood, CO 80215, followed by Rite of Committal at 1:00 pm MST at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236.
