Cinco Ranch High School Choir, Orchestra, Band, Dance And Art Joined Forces To Honor Local Veterans

KATY, TX (November 14, 2018) Katy ISD’s Cinco Ranch High School (CRHS) hosted its annual Veterans Day Concert in the CRHS Performing Arts Center on November 12, 2018. More than 900 people attended the event that honored our veterans through music, dance, and art. Attendees were treated to patriotic classics including “America, the Beautiful” and “Battle Hymn of the Republic” as well as the sentimental favorite, “Danny Boy”. Cougar Star Officers gave an energetic, star-spangled performance to “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”. A “Salute to the Armed Forces” medley closed out the special evening. Service men and women were asked to stand as the song from their branch of the service was played — Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Marines. Thunderous applause filled the auditorium as each group stood to receive thanks. This annual event allows community members to show appreciation for those who served and continue to serve and protect our country.
