Join Houston Arboretum for Post-Holiday Fall Hawk Walk Nov. 24

WHAT: The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center offers a great way to counterbalance the Thanksgiving food fest with its Fall Hawk Walk on Nov. 24. Take a walk on the wild side of the Arboretum to engage with nature and its creatures just minutes from downtown. As guests wander along the trail, they will make stops along the way to meet hawks, owls, falcons and vultures. There will be photo opportunities, as well as a question and answer time, at each stop. Don’t miss this chance to experience these magnificent birds up-close and in-flight in the Arboretum’s natural surroundings. Water is provided to keep people hydrated. If it rains, there will be an indoor show. Wear walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Recommended for ages five and up. Choose from four different start times for the Hawk Walk, beginning at 10 a.m.
