Get Tips For Creating Festive Holiday Floral-Décor At Library Program

Celebrate your favorite seasons and holidays by creating different floral arrangements that add a festive welcome for guests. On Thursday, November 15, Fort Bend County Libraries’ Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library will have a special program on “Floral Arrangements for the Holidays” beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Meeting Room of the library, located at 8100 FM 359 South in Fulshear.

Floral designer Kaye Thompson will demonstrate different techniques to use in making decorative holiday flower arrangements for vases or wreaths. Those attending this workshop will each make an arrangement that they can take home with them.

Materials for this program are made possible by the Friends of the Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library. Proceeds from the Friends of the Library book sales and annual membership dues help to underwrite the costs of special programming and various cultural events at the library.

The program is free and open to the public. Space is limited, and reservations are required. To register online at the library’s website (www.fortbend.lib.tx.us), click on “Events,” select “Bob Lutts Fulshear/Simonton Branch Library,” and find the program. Participants may also register by calling the library at 281-633-4675, or by visiting the library.
