In honor of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), Edens Garden is donating all proceeds from its Fearless Synergy Blend to Laura’s House Domestic Violence Advocacy Center, during October.
“Partnering with Laura’s House was an easy choice. For 24 years, they have worked tirelessly to provide shelter to abused women and children, given out endless resources to help domestic violence victims and prevent future cases by speaking to children and young adults about what an abusive relationship looks like,” said Grace Martin, Edens Garden President and Founder. “We are honored and humbled by their amazing work and those around the world that inspire change for good.”
Nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Every year, more than 10 million people are victims of domestic violence. Furthermore, domestic violence is widespread across every community and affects every age, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, and nationality.
Operating under the philosophy that domestic violence is multi-dimensional and cyclical, Laura’s House provides residential shelter, transitional housing, counseling and workshops, and legal services to abused women, men and children. Since its inception in 1994, Laura’s House has served more than 55,000 people.

According to the Laura’s House leadership team, Edens Gardens essential oils have been an important component for clients during their restraining order hearings. Frustration and anxiety are prevalent in court but essential oils have shown to be effective for several clients to reduce these types of feelings, noted Thoreson.
