Fast-Casual Salad Kitchen to Introduce New Logo to Katy, Texas
Katy, TX. (August 16, 2018) – Houston-based Salata, ranked among the fastest-growing small restaurant chains in the U.S. by Restaurant Business, is slated to open its second Katy location on Thursday, August 23, positioned prominently in the Cinco Ranch residential community. The forthcoming location will feature a new logo and revitalized visual identity that signifies Salata’s growth and a renewed focus on franchisee development as a main strategic driver. A gluten-free certified group of salad kitchens, Salata serves fully customizable, tossed-to-order salads and wraps from a selection of more than 50 fresh and pure ingredients. Additional offerings include hand-cut croutons and pita chips, signature soup, and a state-of-the-art beverage station with tea taps delivering house-made teas and lemonades. The Katy eatery will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Cinco Ranch location will open in continuation of the first phase of Salata’s rebrand with the full rebrand slated to be revealed later this year and retrofit brand-wide starting in 2019 with a complete overhaul of the existing restaurant design. This will be the brand’s first major refresh since its inception in 2005. Michelle Bythewood joined the Salata team in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer (Salata’s first c-suite executive) and has been at the helm of Salata’s rebrand, working alongside owners Berge Simonian and Tony Kyoumjian to identify the guest, update the brand identity, and elevate the restaurant experience.
The new logo speaks to the Salata brand identity: dynamic, multi-dimensional, modern and bold. The sprout pictured within the logo’s design exemplifies the positive personal and community growth that stems from a healthy, delicious and convenient dining experience. Salata Cinco Ranch will be the fourth Salata salad kitchen for franchise owners Tina MacInnes and Jay Tribble, and the second in the Katy area. “With George Bush Park, the Golf Club at Cinco Ranch, several hospitals, and the top-rated Katy Independent School District serving Cinco Ranch, thousands of families in Katy call Cinco Ranch home.
