RICHMOND, TX – Rep. Pete Olson (TX-22) will hold the first meeting of the 2018-2019 school year for his Congressional Youth Advisory Council (CYAC) on Saturday, August 18th. The CYAC is a select group of high school students that meet with Congressman Olson to discuss various issues – the first meeting will focus on introducing students to the legislative process. The Council meets six times within a school year and includes a roundtable discussion on current events, as well as learning the pivotal role of lawmakers, experts and citizens in a democracy.
