Katy, Tex., (August 6, 2018) – Simon®, a global leader in premier shopping, dining and entertainment destinations today announced that a Disney Junior Play Zone will be opening at Katy Mills on Friday, August 10.
This unique family destination will feature an interactive play space, inviting children to experience their favorite Disney Junior shows in a fun, open-concept floor plan. The Disney Junior Play Zone at Katy Mills will also include physical and digital activities themed to hit series such as “Vampirina,” “Muppet Babies,” “Puppy Dog Pals,” “Mickey and the Roadster Racers” and Disney Junior’s newest addition, “Fancy Nancy.”

Located at Entrance 8, the Disney Junior Play Zone will have activities appropriate for toddlers and children up to 10 years old. The area also incorporates elements to enhance the parent/caregiver experience, including mobile device charging stations, comfortable lounge seating and exterior counter seating and an open concept floor plan, which allows strollers to stay by the caregivers’ side while watching or participating in play.
As part of the unveiling, Katy Mills will also host a “Fancy Nancy“- themed Disney Junior Play Date event on Friday, August 10, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Aimed to entertain and delight children of all ages, the free event will bring added fun with arts & crafts, balloon artists, a DJ playing music and more.
